In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 48 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 1 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba HK Vit, Kärra HF Göteborg 1, H 65 Höör H65 1, Ystads IF HF 1, KFUM Lundagård 2, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1, Kävlinge HK 1, Halmstad Handboll and Falu HK 1.

IK Lågan Hörby 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Bjärnums HK with 8-9. In the Final, IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba HK Vit won over H43 Lund 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 A1.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in F01 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Klagshamn 2 with 9-14.
