In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 2 could be found in Group 2 together with HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 2, Staffanstorps HK Abasi, HK Hök Laholm 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm, Ronneby HK, Västerås Irsta HF, IFK Malmö HF, Vinslövs HK and Åhus Handboll 1.

IK Lågan Hörby 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eslövs HF 2 with 9-12. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D2.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Pojkar 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P06 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 2 with 6-8.
