They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Kristianstad 4, Tomelilla IF 2, IFK Malmö HF, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Uppsala HK 2, Halmstad Handboll VIT 2, Alingsås HK 2, KFUM Kalmar HK and Växjö HF 2.
IK Lågan Hörby made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm, which they won with 14-13. Thereby IK Lågan Hörby won the entire A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
