In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 62 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Lugi HF 2, Alingsås HK 2, Växjö HF, Staffanstorps HK, Uppsala HK 1, Hammarby IF Sthlm 2, IFK Kristianstad 1 and Eslövs IK 1.

IK Lågan Hörby 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lugi HF 2 with 2-8. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK Trelleborgs HBK won over Vinslövs HK 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 D2.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Flickor 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in F06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Ronneby HK 1 with 4-5.
