In addition to the two Kävlinge teams, 48 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba HK Vit, Kärra HF Göteborg 1, H 65 Höör H65 1, Ystads IF HF 1, IK Lågan Hörby 1, KFUM Lundagård 2, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1, Halmstad Handboll and Falu HK 1.

Kävlinge HK 1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll with 9-13. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll won over IK Lågan Hörby 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 A1.

Kävlinge HK also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in F01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund 1 with 6-10.
