In addition to the two Kävlinge teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK 1 could be found in Group 7 together with Önnereds HK Gbg, Ystads IF HF 1, Åhus Handboll 3, Eslövs IK 4, Borlänge HK 2, H43 Lund 3, AIK Handbollsförening AIK Svart, Tyresö Handboll 1 and IFK Bankeryd 2.

Kävlinge HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 with 6-11. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over H 65 Höör 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Kävlinge HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs IK 1 with 6-13.
