In addition to the 7 Borlänge teams, 69 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 2 could be found in Group 7 together with Önnereds HK Gbg, Kävlinge HK 1, Ystads IF HF 1, Åhus Handboll 3, Eslövs IK 4, H43 Lund 3, AIK Handbollsförening AIK Svart, Tyresö Handboll 1 and IFK Bankeryd 2.

Borlänge HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 7-12. In the Final, Kärra HF Göteborg 2 won over Staffanstorps HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in F02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Skuru IK Sthlm 2 with 7-8.
