In addition to the 7 Borlänge teams, 69 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 3 could be found in Group 1 together with LVHK Lödde, Lugi HF 3, Trelleborg HBK 2, Vadstena HF, Spånga HK Stockholm 3, IFK Bankeryd 1, Eslövs IK 1 and Kristianstad HK 1.

Borlänge HK 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against H 65 Höör 3 with 9-10. In the Final, Kärra HF Göteborg 2 won over Staffanstorps HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in F02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Skuru IK Sthlm 2 with 7-8.
