In addition to the 7 Borlänge teams, 69 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 6 could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Karlsborg, AIK Handbollsförening AIK Gul, OV Helsingborg HK, Uppsala HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, IFK Strängnäs, H43 Lund 4 and Staffanstorps HK 1.

Borlänge HK 6 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 1 with 6-7. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over H 65 Höör 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in F02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Skuru IK Sthlm 2 with 7-8.
