In addition to Kävlinge HK, 49 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK could be found in Group 5 together with IF Guif Eskilstuna, KFUM Kalmar HK 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 4, Uppsala HK 2, Växjö HF, Åhus Handboll, IK Baltichov Gbg, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka and Bollstanäs SK Sthlm.

Kävlinge HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Redbergslids IK Gbg with 8-10. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 1 won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A2.

Kävlinge HK also participated in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P00 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 7-11.
