In addition to the two Kävlinge teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Malmö HF, Åhus Handboll 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Borlänge HK 4, Alingsås HK 2, H 65 Höör 2, Uppsala HK 2, Vetlanda HF 1 and Staffanstorps HK 2.

Kävlinge HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Spånga HK Stockholm 2 with 9-10. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over H 65 Höör 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Kävlinge HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs IK 1 with 6-13.
