In addition to the two Kärra Göteborg teams, 48 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Kärra HF Göteborg 1 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba HK Vit, H 65 Höör H65 1, Ystads IF HF 1, IK Lågan Hörby 1, KFUM Lundagård 2, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1, Kävlinge HK 1, Halmstad Handboll and Falu HK 1.

Kärra HF Göteborg 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 8-9. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over Gustavsbergs IF HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 A1.

Kärra HF Göteborg also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in F01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Staffanstorps HK 2 with 14-15.
