Lennykatten was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Lennykatten, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Lennykatten could be found in Group 3 together with Halmstad Pride 92, Leimars Lärjungar, Daddy Cool and A-laget. Lennykatten continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK ICE AGE with 6-11. In the Final, IFK ICE AGE won over Daddy Cool and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Lennykatten comes from Uddevalla which lies approximately 310 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
