A-laget was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to A-laget, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof A-laget could be found in Group 3 together with Halmstad Pride 92, Leimars Lärjungar, Lennykatten and Daddy Cool. A-laget continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HAK with 5-12. In the Final, Utvecklingsklassen won over Genföreningen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. A-laget comes from Gärds Köpinge which lies approximately 10 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Gärds Köpinge does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Among others: Uma-Ness Från Skåne, 3 kylskåp & 1 skoter, Arbetsförmedlingen Hässleholm-Eslöv, IFK ICE AGE, Ballingslöv, ATEA, Vakant 87, Tollarps IF, Göinge HK and PP-Pilsnerpojkarna). 6 games playedGoals |
