Leimars Lärjungar was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Leimars Lärjungar could be found in Group 3 together with Halmstad Pride 92, Lennykatten, Daddy Cool and A-laget. Leimars Lärjungar continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Uma-Ness Från Skåne with 6-9. In the Final, IFK ICE AGE won over Daddy Cool and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Leimars Lärjungar comes from Lund which lies approximately 74 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
