Årsta AIK Stockholm was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 2004 C2. Two teams played until 1/8 Final in C-Slutspel; Pojkar 2004 C2 1 lost against IK Bolton Sthlm 1 by 7-9 and Pojkar 2004 C2 2 lost against Tomelilla IF 2 by 8-9.

In addition to this, Årsta AIK Stockholm have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016, Årsta AIK Stockholm had one team playing in Pojkar 2004 C1. The team in Pojkar 2004 C1 made it to the the Semi final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Ronneby HK 1 by 6-9.

Årsta AIK Stockholm comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
