In addition to the two KFUM Kalmar teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof KFUM Kalmar HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Enköpings HF 3, Lugi HF 1, Huddinge HK Sthlm 1, Halmstad Handboll 3, Uppsala HK 3, IFK Kristianstad 1, Redbergslids IK Gbg, Eslövs HF 1 and Tyresö Handboll.

KFUM Kalmar HK 1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK with 11-15. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over Trelleborg HBK and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A2.

KFUM Kalmar HK also participated in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P00 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Växjö HF with 11-12.
