In addition to the two IFK Ystad teams, 77 other teams played in Pojkar 2005 C1. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Ystad HK 1 could be found in Group 8 together with HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 4, Ronneby HK 2, Raklev G&I, Danmark 2, Borlänge HK 1, Uppsala HK, Vinslövs HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, Halmstad Handboll 6 and IFK Malmö HF 2.

IFK Ystad HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Raklev G&I, Danmark 1 with 8-11. In the Final, Alingsås HK 2 won over Växjö HF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005 C1.

IFK Ystad HK also participated in Pojkar 2005 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in P05 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Kävlinge HK 3 with 8-11.
