MATS was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to MATS, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof MATS could be found in Group 10 together with Los Muchachos Bonitos, Rimbo föräldrar hjältar, SuperDABs and Grabbarna Grus. MATS continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Stiffes änglar with 9-11. In the Final, Utvecklingsklassen won over Genföreningen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. MATS comes from Hörby which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Hörby does also provide 100 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Among others: Lundagårds Mammor, Uma-Ness Från Skåne, Arbetsförmedlingen Hässleholm-Eslöv, IFK ICE AGE, Stiffes änglar, Second Generations of Tonårsmammorna, Vakant 87, Tollarps IF, Kastberga åkeri and Botulfsplatsens BK). 5 games playedGoals |
