Bortalaget ÖKD

Bortalaget was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Bortalaget, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Bortalaget could be found in Group 3 together with Hajarna från Huvudstaden, LUND, Gladiators, CCfkp, IFK Kristianstad 1, Uffes Brudar and Botulfsplatsens BK.

Bortalaget continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against H43 Lund 1 with 7-9. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over H43 Lund 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer.

Bortalaget comes from Eslöv which lies approximately 66 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Eslöv does also provide 79 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Among others: Lundagårds Mammor, IF Malmö Redhawks, Stiffes änglar, Second Generations of Tonårsmammorna, SuperDABs, CHIQUITAS BONITAS, Lemon-Lime, Kastberga åkeri, IK Sund Helsingborg and Botulfsplatsens BK).
