In addition to the two H43 Lund teams, 30 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof H43 Lund 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Vinslövs HK 2, Republikskrik, Homegirls, The tall woodswomen, HP Warta, Fricks Cement and Söderbönor 2.

H43 Lund 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Uffes Brudar with 8-9. Thereby H43 Lund 1 finished second in ÖKD A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
