The tall woodswomen was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to The tall woodswomen, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof The tall woodswomen could be found in Group 1 together with Vinslövs HK 2, Republikskrik, Homegirls, HP Warta, H43 Lund 1, Fricks Cement and Söderbönor 2. The tall woodswomen continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Gladiators with 9-17. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over H43 Lund 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. The tall woodswomen comes from Linköping which lies approximately 290 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
