Fricks Cement ÖKD

Fricks Cement was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Fricks Cement, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Fricks Cement could be found in Group 1 together with Vinslövs HK 2, Republikskrik, Homegirls, The tall woodswomen, HP Warta, H43 Lund 1 and Söderbönor 2.

Fricks Cement continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Bortalaget with 11-12. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over H43 Lund 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer.

Fricks Cement comes from Hörby which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Hörby does also provide 97 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Among others: Lundagårds Mammor, Uma-Ness Från Skåne, Arbetsförmedlingen Hässleholm-Eslöv, IFK ICE AGE, Stiffes änglar, Second Generations of Tonårsmammorna, Vakant 87, Tollarps IF, Kastberga åkeri and Botulfsplatsens BK).
