In addition to the two Ankaret Bjärred teams, 41 other teams played in Pojkar 2008 E. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof HK Ankaret Bjärred 2 could be found in Group 7 together with Ystads IF HF Ystads IF 3, Tyresö Handboll Tyresö Mixed 08, IFK Kristianstad 6 and Tomelilla IF.
HK Ankaret Bjärred 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 9-11. Thereby HK Ankaret Bjärred 2 finished second in P08 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. HK Ankaret Bjärred also participated in Pojkar 2007 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
