In addition to Rimbo HK Roslagen, 46 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Rimbo HK Roslagen could be found in Group 1 together with GW Landskrona HK, Halmstad Handboll 1, Åhus Handboll 1, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 3, Gustavsbergs IF HK, Falu HK, H 65 Höör 1, KFUM Lundagård and Skara HF 2.
Rimbo HK Roslagen continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lugi HF 1 with 7-8. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK 1 won over Eslövs IK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A2. Rimbo HK Roslagen also participated in Flickor 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
