In addition to the two Trelleborg teams, 26 other teams played in Damer Junior 97-99. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Trelleborg HBK 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Uppsala HK 2, Vinslövs HK Vinslövs DJ, Eslövs IK, HK Eskil Eskilstuna 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba, H 65 Höör 2, Alingsås HK 1 and Lugi HF.

Trelleborg HBK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 2 with 7-12. In the Final, IF Hellton won over Uppsala HK 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Damer Junior 97-99.

Trelleborg HBK also participated in Damer Junior 96-98 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in D96-98 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Uppsala HK with 8-9.
