In addition to Vinslövs HK, 27 other teams played in Damer Junior 97-99. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Vinslövs HK Vinslövs DJ could be found in Group 2 together with Uppsala HK 2, Trelleborg HBK 2, Eslövs IK, HK Eskil Eskilstuna 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba, H 65 Höör 2, Alingsås HK 1 and Lugi HF.

Vinslövs HK Vinslövs DJ continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Hellton with 9-12. In the Final, IF Hellton won over Uppsala HK 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Damer Junior 97-99.
