Hej Sash was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Hej Sash, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Hej Sash could be found in Group 4 together with motståndarlaget, Second Generations of Tonårsmammorna, Team van Stam, IK Lågan Hörby, Kungarna av Tylösand, Stolpskott and LVHK Lödde Vikings.

Hej Sash made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Kristianstad 1, which they won with 10-7. Thereby Hej Sash won the entire B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.

Hej Sash comes from Höör which lies approximately 49 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
