In addition to the three Ljunghusens teams, 40 other teams played in Pojkar 2008 E. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Ljunghusens HK 1 could be found in Group 8 together with LVHK Lödde 1, Ronneby HK, IFK Kristianstad 8 and Ystads IF HF 2.

Ljunghusens HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 7-8. In the Final, IFK Ystad HK 2 won over LVHK Lödde 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2008 E.
