In addition to the two Ljunghusens teams, 76 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ljunghusens HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Rimbo HK Roslagen, IK Sävehof Partille, Åhus Handboll 1, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm, LVHK Lödde 1, IF Malmö Redhawks and Kävlinge HK.

Ljunghusens HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Guldkroken Hjo with 12-13. In the Final, Rimbo HK Roslagen won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

Ljunghusens HK also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P02 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 7-10.
