In addition to the three Ljunghusens teams, 40 other teams played in Pojkar 2008 E. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Ljunghusens HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Åhus Handboll 1, IFK Kristianstad 3, Vinslövs HK 2 and Alingsås HK 1.

Ljunghusens HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK 1 with 3-7. In the Final, IFK Ystad HK 2 won over LVHK Lödde 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2008 E.
