Mammutar was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Damer.

They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Mammutar could be found in Group 5 together with YIF MOTION, Divorna, Piggelinerna and DVD DET VET DU. Mammutar continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against ÖDET with 6-7. In the Final, ÖDET won over Stolta Mammor and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Damer. Mammutar comes from KRISTIANSTAD which lies approximately 12 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
