Vi was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Damer.
In addition to Vi, 29 other teams played in Motionsklass Damer. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Vi could be found in Group 4 together with Lasses töser, Halmstad Tant, B-rudarna and Pink Hips. Vi continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against SEDUN DNES with 3-6. In the Final, ÖDET won over Stolta Mammor and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Damer. Vi originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
