In addition to the two Sävehof teams, 71 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof 1 could be found in Group 7 together with Borlänge HK 1, Kävlinge HK 2, Lugi HF 1, Ystads IF HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby 2, IFK Bankeryd Ifk Bankeryd 3, HK Hök and Spånga HK.

IK Sävehof 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 4-8. In the Final, HK Aranäs 1 won over H43 Lund HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.
