In addition to Önnereds HK, 72 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Önnereds HK could be found in Group 2 together with Lödde Vikings HK, H43 Lund HF 2, Halmstad Handboll 5, IFK Kristianstad 3, Ystads IF HF 1, Borlänge HK 3 and IFK Bankeryd 1.

Önnereds HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 6-10. In the Final, Tollarps IF 2 won over IFK Kristianstad 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.
