In addition to the three IFK Tumba teams, 67 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Vassunda IF, Kärra HF 1, Höörs HK H 65 1, Åhus Handboll 1, Borlänge HK 1, Sannadals SK 1, Lugi HF 5, Kävlinge HK 2 and Eslövs IK 1.

IFK Tumba HK 1 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Tyresö Handboll, which they won with 14-12. Thereby IFK Tumba HK 1 won the entire C-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
