In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 26 other teams played in Pojkar 2009. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Kristianstad 3, Höörs HK H 65 2, Eslövs HF 1 and Tollarps IF.

IK Lågan Hörby 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 8-9. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 1 won over Ystads IF HF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2009.
