In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 75 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 7 together with Ystads IF HF 1, Kristianstad HK 1, Hammarby IF HF 2, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 1, Eskilstuna Guif IF 2, Tollarps IF 2, Borlänge HK, Lugi HF 1 and Kävlinge HK 2.
Alingsås HK 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Eslövs IK 3, which they won with 11-7. Thereby Alingsås HK 1 won the entire A-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
