In addition to the four Alingsås teams, 61 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Höörs HK H 65, IFK Kristianstad 2, Raklev G&I Raklev, Eslövs HF 1, Lugi HF 1, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll Karlskrona Handboll P06 lag 2, Lödde Vikings HK 2, HK Silwing/Troja and Ystads IF HF 4.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 3 with 4-9. In the Final, Åhus Handboll 1 won over Halmstad Handboll 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in P06 A-Slutspel, but lost it against LVHK Lödde 2 with 6-7.
