In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 68 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Rørby/Værslev IF, Borlänge HK 5, H43 Lund HF 1, Staffanstorps HK 2, Vetlanda HF 1, Kärra HF 2, Kristianstad HK 2, IFK Tumba HK 3 and Hammarby IF HF 1.

IK Lågan Hörby 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 3 with 9-10. In the Final, Höörs HK H 65 2 won over Åhus Handboll 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Flickor 2002 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Borlänge HK 3 with 7-9.
