In addition to Göteborg Beach Handball Club, 42 other teams played in Herrar Junior 98-00. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Tumba HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, IK Baltichov 2, Enköpings HF 2, Lödde Vikings HK, Malmslätts HF and Lugi HF 1.
Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 8-9.
