In addition to the three Lugi teams, 40 other teams played in Herrar Junior 98-00. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Lugi HF 1 could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Tumba HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 2, Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK), Halmstad Handboll 2, IK Baltichov 2, Enköpings HF 2, Lödde Vikings HK and Malmslätts HF.

Lugi HF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 2 with 7-11. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 2 won over IK Sävehof and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 98-00.

Lugi HF also participated in Herrar Junior 97-99 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in H97-99 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK with 8-9.
