In addition to the three Lugi teams, 40 other teams played in Herrar Junior 98-00. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Lugi HF 3 could be found in Group 3 together with HK Aranäs, IK Lågan Hörby, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, Eslövs IK, Tyresö Handboll 2, IFK Bankeryd and Enköpings HF 1.

Lugi HF 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 2 with 8-9. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 2 won over IK Sävehof and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 98-00.

Lugi HF also participated in Herrar Junior 97-99 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in H97-99 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK with 8-9.
