In addition to Div2podden, 39 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Div2podden could be found in Group 2 together with Sannadals SK Tjockholmarna, Koko Hallå, Mormors pojkar, Näsby P96, Nederlaget, KSK ULTRAS and B-laget. Div2podden continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Koko Hallå with 9-13. In the Final, Fyrasvenskarendansk won over USIF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Div2podden comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
