HBG was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to HBG, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof HBG could be found in Group 1 together with A-team, Nästan Rutinerade, Seaside Salon, Hyfsat Bekanta HK, HK Spräng, Republik skrik and Vikingarna. HBG continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Åhus Guldkorn with 8-10. In the Final, Electric Banana Band won over A-team and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. HBG originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
