A-team was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to A-team, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof A-team could be found in Group 1 together with Nästan Rutinerade, Seaside Salon, Hyfsat Bekanta HK, HK Spräng, HBG, Republik skrik and Vikingarna.

A-team made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Electric Banana Band with 11-12. Thereby A-team finished second in ÖKD A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.

A-team comes from Kävlinge which lies approximately 77 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Kävlinge does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Among others: Mmm Tacos, Enter Sandman, Lugi HF, Vakant, Sparbanken Skåne, Eslövs IK, IFK Malmö HF, IK Lågan Hörby, H43 Lund HF and Eslövs HF).
