Eslövs IK was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with 30 teams in 14 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 32 categories. Two teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; Damer Junior 98-00 won over Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 1 by 11-9 but Flickor 2006 3 lost against Alingsås HK 1 by 7-11.
In addition to this, Eslövs IK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017, Eslövs had 27 teams playing in 11 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 29 categories. Four teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; Flickor 2005 C1 1 won over H43 Lund 1 by 11-10, Flickor 2006 D2 1 lost against Alingsås HK 1 by 8-9, Flickor 2000 A2 lost against Trelleborg HBK 1 by 8-11 and Damer Junior 97-99 lost against Uppsala HK 1 by 8-10. Eslövs comes from Eslöv which lies approximately 64 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Eslöv does also provide 71 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Among others: Mmm Tacos, Enter Sandman, Lugi HF, Vakant, Sparbanken Skåne, IFK Malmö HF, IK Lågan Hörby, H43 Lund HF, Eslövs HF and Höörs HK H 65).
