In addition to the two Eslövs teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2001. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Eslövs IK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Tumba HK 1, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll, Ystads IF HF Vit, Kävlinge HK 1, Halmstad Handboll, Kärra HF, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb and HK Ankaret 1.

Eslövs IK 1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 1 with 8-11. In the Final, IK Sävehof 2 won over Ystads IF HF and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2001.

Eslövs IK also participated in Flickor 2001 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F01 B-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund 2 with 8-9.
