In addition to the two Sävehof teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2001. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IK Lågan Hörby, Kävlinge HK 2, Höörs HK H 65 3, Höörs HK H 65 1, IFK Tumba HK 2, Lugi HF 2, Uppsala HK 1 and Borlänge HK 2.

IK Sävehof 2 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Ystads IF HF, which they won with 15-13. Thereby IK Sävehof 2 won the entire C-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
