In addition to Eslövs IK, 29 other teams played in Flickor 2009. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Eslövs IK could be found in Group 4 together with Kävlinge HK 2, Lugi HF 2, Åhus Handboll 1 and Hässleholms HF 1.
Eslövs IK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 2 with 6-8. In the Final, Kävlinge HK 1 won over Åhus Handboll 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2009. Eslövs IK also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
